Project Backpack

It seems we just got done with school for the summer, but it’s time to look ahead to the new school year! SCEC has been a donation collection site for school supplies for Project Backpack for several years.  The collection drive is underway. Please bring your donations to church NO LATER THAN July 26. The box will be picked up by July 28. Needed items include: gender neutral backpacks, pencil boxes, black pens, wide ruled spiral notebooks, glue sticks, school scissors, regular wooden pencils, erasers, plain pocket folders, rulers.  If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to ECC Foundation. Include “Project Backpack” in the memo line. Your generosity goes a long way to helping students get off to a successful start!
